Trump promised twelve months of “living hell”

These are not isolated actions: Washington's attacks near the Mexican territorial sea boundary, the cancellation of flights to the United States from AIFA, and the contentious statements from the President's cabinet.
These are not whims, they are concerted actions because President Trump is campaigning and his aggressive rhetoric against Mexico and the Government of the Republic is part of his strategy to retain the majority in both Houses of Congress.
Accepting that it broke the rule of not making predictions, a few weeks ago the working hypothesis was ventured here that Mexico would be a piñata for the White House tenant and that, while he wins the 2026 elections, he would make Mexico suffer "living hell".
Medical supplies: Support for Mexican companies?
It is stated that, barring adjustments, the 2026 expenditure budget will allocate funds for the public health system to acquire supplies and medical equipment from established companies.
It is unclear why the Government of the Republic had not done so before, since the national industry is the ninth largest global exporter of medical supplies – $22 billion in 2022 – and the fifth largest global exporter of medical equipment – $18.139 billion in 2023.
Perhaps, as Patrick Devlyn of the CCE Health Commission suggested, it is only necessary to establish conditions and requirements to be met and to have certainty in processes and payments, recognizing that it is a strategic sector.
Internal review at Banco del Bienestar
Since last Monday at 1 p.m., one of the lesser-known activities of the Banco del Bienestar (Bank of Well-being) has been suspended: the receipt of funds for the payment of
the deposit of condominium rents for family maintenance, the guarantee of all types of bonds, from criminal to those that guarantee freedom for an accident with damage to third parties.
Every day, thousands of people come to complete this process, and this abrupt decision is detrimental to them. No date has been given for the resumption of payments.
Even stranger is that it's not a system failure, because as recently as October 29th, employees told users it was "an internal review," and one wonders if any irregularities were detected. Mind you, that's a question.
SWIRLING NOTES
With the revenue law approved and the Judicial Administration Body already requesting funds from the Ministry of Finance to cover an "oversight" in the hastily implemented Judicial Reform, 6,500 pesos are still needed to pay compensation to dismissed judges... Incidentally, the Senate vote was 79 to 37 in favor of the Revenue Law. Even the importance of the issue failed to attract the attendance of eleven senators... At the Federico Gómez Children's Hospital, surgeries are being canceled due to a lack of supplies. What happened to that "we're winning, send money" thing... It seems like a cruel joke that the Electoral Tribunal of the Federal Judiciary says the institutions are ready for the 2027 elections, the largest in history... Good advice from the 16th-century Frenchman Montaigne: "He who is not sure of his memory should refrain from lying"...
